Elizabeth Lilley is an innovative coach and facilitator providing custom services to individuals and organizations in professional and leadership development, possibility thinking, visioning, and strategic planning. She offers a blend of curiosity, humor, compassion, and honesty in support of each client’s work. Through her company, Lawson Lilley, Inc., her clients have included executives, IT and business professionals, small business owners, civic and political leaders, and organizations contributing to a better global future.

Elizabeth has been described as an “Analytical Visionary”. Her ability to see the big picture and all of its parts derives largely from 20+ years of process design and business systems analysis, facilitation of cross-functional teams, mentoring, and project and team leadership in information technology, financial services, manufacturing, and other industries. Elizabeth intuitively applies her own knowledge and experiences in coaching her clients to develop and implement their own professional strategies toward more successful integration of leadership, community, contribution, and life. Her ability to broaden perspective allows leaders to situationally see and choose alternate modes of communication and behavior in managing their teams and meeting their objectives. She has been recognized for her work in facilitating a successful strategic planning retreat for UNA USA Young Professionals for International Cooperation, coaching a team of talented strong-minded emerging leaders toward a common vision and strategy for a growing multi-cultural organization. At global financial services firm, Elizabeth led a collaborative process improvement initiative to streamline delivery of complex systems for 401K and retail mutual fund clients. She facilitated a cross-functional team of 30 IT leaders over 14 months to bring their disparate processes together into one amid much conflict. The end result was a significant improvement in communication and mutual understanding as a team as well as a single project-driven process for IT staff to follow. She mentored her own staff of business systems analysts and software testers through numerous reorganizations, changing roles, and shifting directions to maintain individual contribution and team productivity. Through her consulting with Fortune 500 companies, Elizabeth coached managers of manufacturing and operational units in reengineering processes, balancing production, and managing the resulting organizational change for improved team and company performance.

Elizabeth is a Certified Hudson Institute Coach (CHIC) and is a member and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) of the International Coach Federation. She received her MAS in Information Technology Management from Johns Hopkins University, a Certificate in Transformational Leadership from Georgetown University, and her BA in French from Salisbury University.
