Valerie Pelan is an Executive and Leadership coach.  She has a passion for supporting Executives, managers, professionals and individuals to improve their execution, situational effectiveness, political savvy and to overcome limited thinking.  She works with teams and organizations using group coaching techniques that support team cohesiveness and resolve conflicts.  Valerie chose the name, Integrated Focus, as it sums up the value of coaching to her clients.

Valerie has over 20 years in the global technology industry holding a variety of leadership roles from product management, strategic marketing, global sales, performance coaching, global team development, and organizational change management. Valerie experience gives her a unique perspective on the challenges facing leaders and their teams to achieve results in today’s impersonal, highly competitive, global and fast moving business environment.

Coaching relationship is a collaboration of equals; the coaching process is a structured, disciplined process that provides a safe, supportive and “confidential environment” for honest feedback, strategizing, and supporting improved interpersonal skills.

• Valerie helps the client focus on and systematically explore specific concerns and opportunities that are central to agreed-upon coaching goals and to set measurable and actionable goals and objectives for the coaching plan.
• Valerie acts as an information resource sharing tools and knowledge and celebrates client successes and capabilities for future growth.

She has extensive experience in organizations known for innovative and creative approaches to learning and human capital – “ahead of the curve”.  She has experience working with Executive management and exhibits superior professionalism and discretion especially with - Executive level management.

Valerie is certified by University of Texas, Graduate School of Management, Executive and Professional Coaching program and International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is an Executive Coach for University of Texas, Executive MBA program. She is a contributing columnist and motivational speaker on leadership, Personal Branding, Visibility Management, and organizational change.

Valerie is certified in several key assessment tools: Lominger Voices (360), Birkman Assessment, and organizational change using Appreciative Inquiry.  She is a member of the ICF, American Society of Training and Development (ASTD), Dallas SPHRM and the Executive Women of Dallas.  Integrated Focus is a certified Woman Owned Business (WBEN).  She has an MBA in Economics and is an adjunct professor.
